Ingredients

1 cup / 225g unsalted butter, softened

1 cup / 200g regular sugar, Resugar Original, or Resugar Zero

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2¼ cups / 280g all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1¼ cups / 200g chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Beat the butter and your choice of sweetener until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.

  3. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until a dough forms, then fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Scoop onto the prepared trays and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
